The BCPC is pleased to announce and welcome Jennifer in her new position as the Interior Group Chair.
Jennifer brings a wealth of experience to this new position. As with a number of our volunteers, when her son became a cadet in 2008, she realized the incredible value of the program and became fully involved in the 861 RCACS Sponsoring Committee where she served as a Director and Chairperson for eight years.
Now, Jennifer continues to assist by volunteering her time after joining the Air Cadet League, BC Provincial Committee in 2017, as the Fraser Valley Wing Chair and League Representative for 147, 521 and 861, where she pays forward knowledge and skills obtained in the Air Cadet program. In her opinion, assisting other Sponsoring Committees achieve success is fundamentally valuable in maintaining the best youth program in Canada.
In 2012, Jennifer received the Commendation Award for obtaining high profile public relations for the 861 Silverfox RCACS from the then Pacific Region Support Unit Commander, Commander Stan Bates. In 2014, Jennifer received the Certificate of Merit awarded by the Air Cadet League of Canada in recognition of outstanding service.
Currently, Jennifer is the Executive Director at the Abbotsford Downtown Business Association where she works full time along with a Board of Directors to support and assist in the revitalization of the downtown core.
