Please join the BC Provincial Committee in welcoming Saeedeh Bouzari, MBM, CSCP, CPIM as our newest League Member.

Saeedeh was born and raised in Tehran. She graduated the university with Bachelor degree in English Language as the major. Right after, she explored her professional journey as the English Tutor and then in Supply Chain and Project Management. Since she was enjoying the supply chain field, she continued her education and received her Master degree in International Business Management in 2014. Now, she is being recognized as CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional)-2020 and CPIM (Certified Production and Inventory Management)-2024 from ASCM (before called APICS).

In 2014, Saeedeh and her family moved to Vancouver, Canada and then Burnaby. When settling in Canada, Saeedeh received a lot of support from many volunteers and that encouraged her to contribute to the community when she can. She started as English Language Facilitator and Fundraising Coordinator with Mosaic, Filing taxes as a volunteer with Tax clinics at S.U.C.C.E.S.S, MOSAIC, Burnaby Community Centre, and Little Mountain Neighbourhood House.

In 2019, Saeedeh learned about Air Cadet Program from the flyers that she received from school. Since she was raised by an army force father in house and experienced the benefit, she encouraged her son Rodin to join 759 Air Cadet Squadron in January 2019.

From the start Saeedeh was joining the 759 Squadron’s Sponsoring Committee meetings on Wednesday nights. Not very long after, she joined the 759 Squadron’s Sponsoring Committee. As the Director, she has served as a member at large, fundraising coordinator, and Vice Chairperson in the 759 Squadron’s Sponsoring Committee. She always sought to enhance the communication between CO and the Squadron’s Sponsoring Committee, support the cadets, and to bring more value to both the program and as the image of 759 Air Cadet Squadron in public events, such as their Remembrance Day Parade and ACR.

Saeedeh’s volunteering journey doesn’t end here. She loves cats and that’s why she is fostering cats with Paws for Hope from 2020. She is also volunteering with Burnaby Skating Club as the executive member and Meet Coordinator. In that regard, she was the Meet Coordinator for 2024 BC Short Track Competition with Speed Skating BC.

Now, Rodin is expecting an early age out since he is moving to UBC Okanagan. Thus, Saeedeh is honoured to continue her support as the League Rep by joining to the BC Provincial Committee of Air Cadet League.

Congratulations – we all look forward to working with you!
