Every individual gets something different out of their Cadet experience.
We want you to express that in a drawing, painting, or photograph.
TOPIC: WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT AIR CADETS?

The contest deadline is November 7th, 2025 – it’s time to get creative TODAY!

BC Air Cadets may enter in one of two categories:
1 – Photography
- Landscape Orientation
- Minimum resolution of 1920×1080 is required, however a larger image is preferred
- Must feature some aspect of Air Cadets
2 – Hand Drawing or Painting
- Landscape Orientation
- Any medium may be used (pencil, acrylic, watercolour, digital, etc.)
- Must feature some aspect of Air Cadets
CADET MEDIA COMPETITION RULES
- This competition is open to Pacific Region Air Cadets only at any level.
- The closing date for this competition is November 7th, 2025.
- Entries must be submitted using the online application form no later than 11:59pm on November 7th, 2025. All entries received after that date and time will not be accepted.
- A high-quality photograph or scan (minimum resolution of 1920×1080) may be used in order to submit a Hand Drawing or Painting. The link to this digital image must be included with the entry using the online application form (Rule 3).
- All entries must depict a Cadet activity or event.
- All Cadets depicted in the images must have a completed media release form in Fortress (check with your CO for details).
- The results will be judged by three (3) judges – their decision is final.
- Results will be announced within two (2) weeks of the closing date and the winners will be notified by email.
- By entering the Cadet Media Competition, you confirm to The Air Cadet League of Canada, British Columbia Provincial Committee that you are the Creator and Owner of the work, that you have the permission of the subject or, where appropriate the subject’s parent or guardian, that the work does not infringe copyright or Indigenous cultural and intellectual property, the image was not taken in circumstances of trespass or invading anyone’s legal right of privacy, confidentiality, breach of industrial law or applicable industry code, and does not to the best of your knowledge defame anyone nor was your conduct in taking the image likely to be misleading or deceptive and that you agree with the these Terms & Conditions.
- Winning entries using physical media (Hand Drawings or Paintings) must be submitted to your Squadron’s Sponsoring Committee.
- All winning entries will become the property of the Air Cadet League of Canada, British Columbia Provincial Committee .
